ICS has recently concluded extensive testing and configuration of CMA desktop, a new way of video conferencing, using your local desktop to interact with existing video conference systems. 

It is now ready to be rolled out to end users and can be used either for one to one to conferencing or to participate in a multi-site conference. To use this revolutionary new communication device, you need a computer (Mac or PC) equipped with a microphone and camera.

To obtain a licence and software, and to receive a username and password, contact ICS’s video conferencing coordinator, Dusty Nayager on x3592 or email . The initial phase will restrict usage to 50 licenses. Beside multi-site conferencing, users can also encrypt (virtual) meeting rooms for security purposes and communication protocols use different platforms (ethernet, 3G, ISDN, etc.) seamlessly
