Follow the steps below to change your password:
- Open a web browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, etc.).
- Go to https://password.ukzn.ac.za
- Enter your email address in the format:
studentnumber@stu.ukzn.ac.za
Example: 20106920@stu.ukzn.ac.za -
Enter your old password:
- First-year students and returning students who were not registered last year should use:
Stu@DateOfBirth (e.g. Stu@16111990)
- First-year students and returning students who were not registered last year should use:
- Create a new password.
- Confirm the new password.
🔑 Password Requirements
Your new password must be a minimum of 8 characters and contain:
- At least 1 lowercase letter [a-z]
- At least 1 uppercase letter [A-Z]
- At least 1 numeric character [0-9] or
- At least 1 special character
