User Support

User Support is responsible for providing IT and AV support for all UKZN staff, spanning across all five campuses.  This includes a virtual Call Centre, Field, Walk-in Centre and Lecture venue support.  Quality satisfaction surveys are sent after each service call and ongoing internal reviews allows our team to take action based on real feedback.

Services offered includes:

  • Call logging
  • First line problem resolution
  • High level user support, consultations, training and resolving end user problems
  • IT/Audio Visual solutions, coordinating and conducting AV events and lecture venue support
  • Scheduling and support of Video conferences
  • SharePoint Support end user support

Although support is provided individually, various training sessions are held to empower the UKZN community as much as possible in order for them to perform their daily functions more efficiently and independently.
