One of the most important things we do is to help users at UKZN get the most out of IT and deal with problems when they arise. We support students, academics and professional staff. Look at our Service Catalogue for a list of services.
Your first port of call for getting help will be the ICS Call Centre. We have consultants on hand to answer a wide range of queries – from lost passwords and faulty computers to networking, audio visual and telephone issues. We also provide help for our admin systems such as ITS, iEnabler and the Student Management System.
Consultants in the ICS Workshop are responsible for hardware repairs and re-installation of software.
Our PC Replacements Team covers purchasing of software and hardware and replacements of computers. We maintain site licenses for a wide range of software used for academic and administrative work.
